Feeling Overwhelmed?

"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." (Matthew 6:34)

Good morning!

Are you feeling overwhelmed by some big project, task, challenge or hurdle that has presented itself in 2005? Are you worried that you're not going to be able to make it? If so, I'm writing to let you know that you can make it because there is nothing that you and God can't handle together. Furthermore, His word tells us not to worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. In other words, we must remember to take it one step at a time. My Mother-in-law had a saying:

How do you eat an elephant?
One bite at a time.
How do you climb a mountain?
One hill at a time.
How can you clean a house?
One room at a time.
How do you cook a meal?
One thing-item-dish at a time.
How do you fold clothes?
One piece at a time.
How do you catch up on sleep?
One nap at a time.
How can you live your life

The songwriter put it this way:

One day at a time sweet Jesus.
That's all I'm asking from you.
Just give me the strength.
To do everyday what I have to do.
Yesterday's gone sweet Jesus.
And tomorrow may never be mine.
Lord help me today, show me the way.
One day at a time.

Peace and Blessings to You!
