We began our season of lent with our Ash Wednesday Service on Wednesday, March 1. Rev. Banks, an Associate Minister at Metropolitan Baptist Church spoke to us about being stablished with God. All who came out received a truly inspirational word from God. If you weren't there you were missed and you missed as well. Please remember to try to walk closer to God during this season of lent. Rev. Banks through out the challenge to at least pray three times a day. Let's try to pray as a church at 9:00, 12:00 and 5:00. Wherever you are just set your timers to pray for our church, our world, and give thanks to God. |
